Cancellation Policy — Blue Bird Aesthetics

Purpose of this policy

Appointments are reserved specifically for you. Late cancellations and non‑attendance prevent other clients from accessing care, particularly as appointments with Dr Halliday are limited and doctor‑led. This policy ensures fairness, clarity, and smooth clinic operations.

Notice period

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. You may cancel or amend your appointment through Glowday or by contacting the clinic directly.

Deposits

A deposit may be required to secure your booking. Deposits are:

  • Fully transferable when more than 24 hours’ notice is given
  • Non‑refundable for late cancellations or non‑attendance
  • Processed via Glowday in accordance with this policy

Where a deposit has been paid, it may be retained and offset against any applicable cancellation charge.

Late cancellations and no‑shows

A cancellation charge of 30% of the booked treatment cost may be applied where:

  • you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, or
  • you do not attend your appointment.

This reflects the loss incurred where an appointment slot cannot reasonably be reallocated.

Where applicable, cancellation charges may be processed automatically via Glowday in line with this policy.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. Cancellation fees may be waived at the clinic’s discretion in cases of genuine emergency or serious illness.

Appointments booked within the cooling‑off period

For online bookings made at a distance, statutory cancellation rights may apply. Where you request that treatment is provided within the statutory cooling‑off period, you expressly consent to the service beginning during that period and acknowledge that your right to cancel may be lost once the service has been fully performed.

Clinic delays or cancellations

If the clinic needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment, your deposit will be transferred or refunded in full.

Cancellations are confirmed once acknowledged by the clinic or Glowday.
