Why Glowday asks for a card at registration
Glowday requires a card when you create your account. This card is not used to take payment for your treatment. It is held securely for one purpose only:
To apply our cancellation policy if needed
This replaces the need for deposits at every appointment and keeps the booking process simple.

Our Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change and we always try to be flexible. However, late cancellations and no‑shows prevent other patients from booking.
Glowday automatically applies our policy: 30% of the booked treatment cost — only if you cancel late (usually within 24 hours) or do not attend, and the appointment therefore cannot be rebooked.
This is the only reason your registered card is held.

Booking a treatment vs. what happens on the day
Glowday allows you to book a specific treatment, but:
Treatments are only carried out if clinically appropriate and safe.
At your appointment, Dr Amber Halliday will assess your skin, medical history, and suitability. If the treatment you booked is not appropriate:
- It will not go ahead
- No charge will be applied
- An alternative option may be discussed if suitable
