Botox® is a well‑known brand name for a prescription‑only medicine (POM) used to soften expression lines. Because it is a POM, medical clinics are not permitted to advertise it directly, which is why the term “anti‑wrinkle injections” is used in treatment information. Dr Halliday prescribes either Botox® or Azzalure® following a full medical consultation, and no other brands are used.

Most people return to normal activities immediately. You may notice small bumps, redness or mild swelling at the injection sites, which usually settle within a few hours. Dr Halliday will provide personalised aftercare advice during your appointment.
