Sunekos Worthing | Doctor‑Led Regenerative Amino Acid Booster
Support your skin’s own collagen and elastin with Sunekos — a regenerative amino acid and hyaluronic acid treatment delivered safely by Dr Amber Halliday

What Is Sunekos?
Sunekos is an injectable treatment combining hyaluronic acid with a patented blend of amino acids — the building blocks the skin uses to produce its own collagen and elastin. Rather than simply hydrating the skin, Sunekos is designed to give the dermis the raw materials it needs to regenerate and strengthen itself.
It is particularly valued for delicate areas such as the under‑eyes, where many other injectable treatments are too heavy. There are two formulations:
- Sunekos 200 — a lighter formulation suited to delicate areas including the under‑eye, fine lines and crepey skin
- Sunekos 1200 — a deeper‑acting formulation that can be combined with Sunekos 200 for more established lines and laxity
At Blue Bird Aesthetics, Sunekos is carried out exclusively by Dr Amber Halliday, following a medical consultation to confirm suitability.
What is Sunekos Used For?
Sunekos is designed to improve skin quality and resilience, not to add volume or reshape features.
Sunekos may be suitable if you:

Sunekos does not replace lost volume. If under‑eye hollowing or structural change is your main concern, Dr Halliday will discuss whether a different approach is more appropriate during your consultation, such as cheek filler, dermal fillers, or Profhilo Structura.
What to Expect During Your Appointment
Your appointment begins with a medical consultation to confirm that Sunekos is appropriate for you.
- Appointment time: ~30 minutes
- Sensation: generally comfortable; numbing cream available for delicate areas
- Immediate appearance: small bumps or mild swelling at injection points (normal)
- Resolution: typically 24–48 hours
- Downtime: minimal; most patients return to normal activities straight away
A course of two treatments, four weeks apart, is recommended. Maintenance is typically every 6–12 months.
Why Patients Choose Blue Bird Aesthetics
Your treatment is carried out in a calm, doctor‑led environment with a focus on safety, natural-looking results, evidence-based medicine and informed honest expectations.
Every treatment at Blue Bird Aesthetics is carried out personally by Dr Amber Halliday, MRCGP MBBS, in a calm, doctor‑led environment. Her approach focuses on:
- subtle, natural‑looking results — not ‘overdone’
- evidence‑based treatment planning
- honest expectations — including telling you when a treatment is not the right fit
- doctor‑led safety, consultation and aftercare
During your consultation, Dr Halliday will assess your skin and recommend whether this treatment — or an alternative such as Profhilo, polynucleotides or NeoGen — is the most clinically appropriate option for your goals.
When Sunekos May Not Be Suitable
Sunekos may not be appropriate for everyone. Treatment may be unsuitable if you:

A medical consultation is essential to review your health history, medications and general health to determine whether Sunekos treatment is appropriate and safe.
Pricing
Sunekos treatment is £195 for one area or £350 for two areas, including consultation. Course pricing is discussed at consultation.
Sunekos vs Profhilo — What’s the Difference?
| Feature | Sunekos | Profhilo |
|---|---|---|
| Key ingredients | Hyaluronic acid + amino acids | High‑concentration hyaluronic acid |
| Primary effect | Supports collagen & elastin production | Hydration, glow & bio‑remodelling |
| Best for | Under‑eyes, fine lines, delicate areas | Overall skin quality, dullness, laxity |
| Typical course | 3–4 sessions, 1–2 weeks apart | 2 sessions, 4 weeks apart |
| Adds volume? | No | No |
Both are skin‑quality treatments rather than fillers. The right choice depends on your main concern — something Dr Halliday will help you decide at consultation.
