We created this guide because parking in town can feel confusing — and we want your visit to feel calm from the moment you set off. So before you set off to see us at Blue Bird Aesthetics, here’s everything you need to know — from the closest car park to the best free options, with up-to-date prices and walking times included.
Our clinic is at 4 Warwick Lane, off Warwick Street, Worthing BN11 3DP. We’re right in the heart of Worthing town centre, which means great transport links and plenty of parking nearby. You can find full directions to the clinic on our about page. And if you’d rather see it on a map first, we’ve put together an interactive parking map showing all the options colour-coded by recommendation — green for our top picks, yellow for good alternatives, blue for the cheapest all-day option, and red for the one car park you can no longer use (more on that below).

✨Top Parking Recommendation
Our top recommendation is the High Street multi-storey car park (BN11 1LY) — it’s the closest large car park to our clinic at around a 4–5 minute walk, has 624 spaces, costs just £1.50 for the first hour or £3.20 for two hours Monday to Saturday, and is completely free after 10pm every night. It’s open 24 hours, you pay on arrival using coins, card or the MiPermit app, and if your appointment runs a little longer than planned you can extend your stay from your phone without going back to the car park. For most clients, most of the time, this is the one to head to — sat nav postcode BN11 1LY.
If the High Street MSCP is full, or you’re looking for something with guaranteed availability on a busy Saturday, NCP Union Place (BN11 1LG) is your next port of call — it’s even slightly closer at around 3–4 minutes’ walk, has 178 spaces with ANPR entry and exit, and allows you to pre-book online at ncp.co.uk. (Tariffs: please check ncp.co.uk directly as we were unable to confirm the current price from their website at time of writing.)
Important Update: Two Car Parks Have Recently Closed
Before we go further, there are two changes you need to know about — especially if you’ve visited us before and relied on either of these.
The Grafton multi-storey car park (Marine Parade) is permanently closed. It shut in May 2025 following urgent structural inspections and will not reopen. The building is due to be demolished and the site redeveloped. If your usual route took you past the seafront to park there, please don’t — it is closed and will not be reopening. We know this will affect clients who found it convenient, and we’re sorry for the disruption. The good news is there are still well over 1,000 spaces available across the town centre car parks, and our clinic is just as easy to reach.
The High Street surface car park (the small open-air car park adjacent to the multi-storey) also permanently closed to the public in January 2026. The High Street multi-storey — the large 624-space car park — is completely unaffected and remains open as normal.
Please update any saved directions or notes if you’ve used either of these before.

The Cheapest Ways to Park
Worthing’s parking prices are genuinely among the most affordable on the Sussex coast — and there are several ways to make them even cheaper.
Free on-street parking is the best deal in town if you time it right. Every pay-and-display bay in Worthing’s town centre CPZ — including on Warwick Street itself — is completely free after 6pm on weekdays, and free all day on Sundays. If your appointment is an evening or Sunday one, you can often park right outside our door at no cost at all. Just check the roadside sign on the specific bay to confirm its maximum stay and any other restrictions.
Cheapest daytime off-street option for a 1–2 hour appointment is the High Street or Buckingham Road multi-storey at £1.50 for the first hour or £3.20 for two hours. Those prices genuinely haven’t changed much in years — it’s good value.
Cheapest all-day parking if you’re having a longer treatment course or combining your visit with other errands in town: Teville Gate surface car park at £7.20 all day (8am–6pm, Monday to Sunday). It’s about a 10-minute walk to us, so wear comfortable shoes, but you won’t find cheaper off-street all-day parking closer to the town centre.
Free all day on Sundays: all council-run multi-storey car parks charge just £6.00 for a full Sunday (compared to £13.00 Monday–Saturday), and on-street is completely free. Sunday is by far the easiest and cheapest day to drive into central Worthing.
Free overnight: all council MSCPs are free between 10pm and 6am, every night of the week.
✨Best for Quick Visits
For anything up to an hour — a quick B12 booster, a consultation, or a top-up treatment — the most convenient options are:
- On-street pay-and-display bays on Ann Street are the closest to Blue Bird Aesthetics — steps from our front door, £2.00 for the hour or free after 6pm. Perfect for in-and-out visits.
- High Street MSCP — 4–5 minutes’ walk, £1.50 for the first hour. Pay on arrival at the machine or on the MiPermit app, and you can extend your stay from your phone if needed.
- NCP Union Place — 3–4 minutes’ walk. Good if the on-street bays are taken. Check ncp.co.uk for current tariffs.
✨Best for Longer Appointments
For consultations, treatment courses, or anything where you’ll be with us for an hour or more:
- High Street MSCP is still the most practical choice — 2 hours costs just £3.20, 3 hours £4.70. The MiPermit app means you never have to worry about rushing back to top up in person.
- Buckingham Road MSCP — same prices as the High Street MSCP, a couple of minutes further to walk but an excellent alternative if the High Street is particularly busy. It also has the best accessibility provision of any car park in the area (see below).
- NCP Union Place — if you’re coming on a busy Saturday, consider pre-booking your space online at ncp.co.uk. It takes the guesswork out of arrival.
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to get to us comfortably. If you need step‑free access or disabled parking, we’ve highlighted the best options clearly below.
Buckingham Road MSCP is the best option for Blue Badge holders and clients who need step-free access — it has 15 dedicated disabled bays, 2 dementia-friendly spaces, and 7 parent-and-child spaces. The lift operates Monday to Saturday 8am–6pm and Sunday 10am–5pm. Outside those hours, please factor in lift availability.
High Street MSCP has 6 disabled bays and 2 EV charging bays. However, please note that disabled access at the High Street MSCP is currently restricted due to ongoing lift works. Step-free access for wheelchair users cannot be guaranteed while works are ongoing. We recommend Blue Badge holders who need step-free access use Buckingham Road MSCP until further notice. Call the Adur & Worthing Parking Team on 01903 221180 to check the current lift status before your visit.
Civic Quarter MSCP has 17 disabled bays (inside and outside the building) and 34 EV charging points — the best EV option in Worthing town centre. It’s about 9–11 minutes’ walk from us, slightly further than the others, but an excellent choice if you drive an electric or hybrid vehicle.
On-street: Worthing town centre is flat, which makes it genuinely easy to walk from any of the car parks to our clinic. All routes are on level pavement with good street lighting.
Blue Badge holders can park free in designated disabled bays at Teville Gate and Montague Centre (up to 3 hours). At the town centre MSCPs (High Street, Buckingham Road, Civic Quarter), the standard tariff applies to all bays including disabled ones, but your Blue Badge must be displayed. On double or single yellow lines on-street, Blue Badge holders can park for up to 3 hours.
EV Charging Near Blue Bird Aesthetics
There are three options for electric and hybrid vehicle drivers:
- Civic Quarter MSCP (BN11 1HS, ~9–11 min walk): 34 EV charging bays — the largest single EV facility in Worthing town centre. EV charging is priced separately on top of the standard parking tariff.
- High Street MSCP (BN11 1LY, ~4–5 min walk): 2 EV charging bays. Again, charging cost is separate from parking.
- On-street EV bays: there are some on-street EV charging points within the town centre CPZ. Check the full map at adur-worthing.gov.uk/parking/electric-charging-points/ for locations.
Whichever EV bay you use, please note that you may only park there while your vehicle is actively charging.
Coming by Bus or Train
Of course, you don’t have to drive at all.
By bus: the nearest bus stops are The Steyne and South Street, both about 2–3 minutes from our door on Warwick Lane. Key routes serving the area include the 5, 10, 23 (local Worthing routes) and the 700/700A Coastliner (Brighton–Littlehampton along the seafront). Operators include Stagecoach and Compass. For live times, use bustimes.org or the Stagecoach app.
By train: Worthing Station is about a 10–13 minute walk north of the clinic, heading down Chapel Road and into the town centre. There are regular services from Brighton (around 30 minutes), Gatwick Airport (around 60 minutes), and London Victoria (around 90 minutes), run by Southern and Thameslink. From the station, the 5, 10 and 700 bus routes also stop near the clinic if you’d rather not walk.
By bike: Donkey Bikes — Worthing’s hire bike scheme — has docking stations around the town centre. Secure cycle storage is available at the High Street MSCP and Civic Quarter MSCP, and at Worthing Station.
Tips to Avoid a Parking Fine
Worthing’s Civil Enforcement Officers (employed by NSL Services) do patrol the town centre actively during business hours. A few things to watch for:
- Double yellow lines near junctions on Warwick Street and the surrounding streets mean no parking at any time, no exceptions.
- Loading bays: yellow kerb markings with a time plate mean the bay is a loading bay during those hours — parking there even briefly risks a fine.
- Permit bays: in the CPZ, some white-lined bays are for residents with permits only during active hours (generally 9am–6pm Monday–Saturday). Look carefully at the sign on the bay before you park.
- MSCPs: under the new pay-on-arrival system, you must pay when you arrive — not when you leave. Don’t park first and go looking for a machine later; pay immediately on entering. You don’t need to display a ticket, but the payment is registered to your number plate.
- MiPermit app: download it before you come. It lets you pay and extend your stay from your phone, which removes the main cause of accidentally overstaying.
✨ How to Use the MiPermit App
MiPermit is the easiest way to pay for parking in Worthing’s council‑run car parks — and it means you never have to rush back to the machine if your appointment runs over. Here’s how to use it:
1. Download the FREE app before you set off Search “MiPermit” in the App Store or Google Play.
2. Create an account and add your vehicle You’ll only need your number plate. This takes less than a minute.
3. Park your car and open the app MiPermit automatically detects the nearest car park, or you can enter the location code shown on the signage: 702227 = High Street Multistorey Car Park
4. Choose how long you want to stay You’ll see the exact tariff for that car park. Select your duration and confirm payment.
5. Extend your stay from your phone If your appointment runs longer than planned, simply open the app and add more time — no need to return to the car park.
6. No ticket required Your parking session is linked to your number plate, so there’s nothing to display on your dashboard.
Tip: If you’re new to the app, set it up at home first — it’s quicker and avoids faffing around in the car park.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I park right outside after 6pm? Yes — Zone A pay-and-display bays on Warwick Street are completely free after 6pm on weekdays, and all day on Sundays. Check the individual bay sign for any maximum stay restrictions, but in most cases you can simply park up at no cost for an evening appointment.
Is there EV charging near Blue Bird Aesthetics? Yes. The Civic Quarter MSCP (BN11 1HS, ~10 min walk) has 34 EV bays — the best option. High Street MSCP (BN11 1LY, ~5 min walk) has 2. EV charging is charged separately on top of parking. There are also some on-street EV bays in the town centre — see the full map at adur-worthing.gov.uk/parking/electric-charging-points/
Is there disabled parking close by? Yes. Buckingham Road MSCP has the most dedicated spaces (15 disabled bays, 2 dementia-friendly, 7 parent-and-child). Please note the High Street MSCP lift is currently restricted — Blue Badge holders needing step-free access should use Buckingham Road or Civic Quarter instead for now.
What is the MiPermit app? It’s the free parking app for all Adur & Worthing Council car parks. Download it before you visit and register your car. You can pay for your stay and extend it remotely if your appointment runs over — genuinely useful, and it means you never have to dash back to the car park mid-appointment. Search ‘MiPermit’ in the App Store or Google Play.
Can I park all day for a longer appointment? Absolutely. Teville Gate is cheapest at £7.20 all day (8am–6pm, ~10 min walk). The town-centre MSCPs (High Street, Buckingham Road, Civic Quarter) are £13.00 all day Monday–Saturday, or a much more reasonable £6.00 all day on Sundays.
What if I’m running late and my parking is about to expire? If you paid on the MiPermit app, you can extend your session from your phone without going back to the car park. If you paid at the machine in an MSCP, you can return to the machine and add more time, or switch to the MiPermit app to create a new session.
Ready to Book?
Now that you know exactly where to park, you can arrive feeling calm and unhurried. If you’d like to book a consultation, you’re very welcome to do so here — we look forward to welcoming you to Warwick Lane.
And don’t forget — before you visit on a busy day or weekend, it’s always worth a quick check at adur-worthing.gov.uk/parking/worthing-car-parks/ to confirm nothing has changed. Parking tariffs and availability do occasionally change, and the council keeps that page up to date.
If you’re new to aesthetics or exploring treatment options, you may find our Ultimate Guide to Aesthetics helpful — it covers everything you might want to know before your first appointment.
