Photography and video lighting are unforgiving in a way everyday life isn’t — texture, pores and dehydration all show up more clearly on camera than in the mirror. Planning ahead of a shoot tends to give far better results than anything done the week before.
What People Usually Notice
Texture, visible pores, and dehydration under makeup come up most often ahead of a shoot. Fine lines can also become more noticeable under studio lighting than they are day to day.
Suggested Timeline
12 weeks: course-based treatments (texture, pores)→4 weeks: final session, allow settling time→1 week: LED or hydration only — nothing new
Treatment Options We May Discuss
Safety & Suitability
Anything with visible downtime needs to be well clear of the shoot date. We’ll work backwards from your date to build a realistic plan, rather than trying to fit a course of treatment into the week before.
Not sure what’s right for your timeline?
Bring the date and the goal to a consultation, and Dr Halliday will talk you through what’s realistic and what isn’t — no pressure, no set menu.
